National Festival of Maccheroncini di Campofilone IGP
Every year in August, Campofilone celebrates the National Festival of Maccheroncini IGP, now in its 62nd year. It is one of the longest-running gastronomic festivals in the Marche region, capable of attracting visitors from all over Italy and abroad. For several evenings, the village is transformed into a large open-air banquet: food stands, music and performances frame the tasting of the famous Maccheroncini di Campofilone IGP, prepared according to ancient tradition. The festival is not only a time for taste, but also an occasion for meeting and identity, strengthening the bond between the community and its signature dish.
Orto Party
Every year in August, Campofilone’s Abbey Garden is transformed into a big party stage for the Orto Party, the village’s historic Beer Festival. It’s a young and bubbly evening featuring food stands, craft beers, cocktails and local specialties, all accompanied by concerts, DJ sets and performances under the stars. The informal and convivial atmosphere makes it a highly anticipated summer event, attracting visitors from across the valley.
Chili Pepper Festival
For more than 11 years, Campofilone has hosted the Chili Pepper Festival every August — two evenings of flavor and fun in the historic center. Food stands offering spicy dishes, live music and performances light up the village, transforming it into a colorful and convivial celebration of chili peppers and local flavors. Organized by the Pro Loco, the event attracts visitors from all over the region every year, combining tradition, joy, and togetherness.
St.Patrick Festival
Campofilone celebrates St. Patrick’s Day with a day full of Celtic energy and traditions. The morning opens with the Celtic Walk, a scenic route through the beautiful hills that embrace the village, with views ranging from the Sibillini Mountains to the Adriatic Sea, accompanied by live music and small tastings along the way. Upon returning to the village, the celebration continues in the square with Maccheroncini di Campofilone IGP, local specialties, shows and entertainment. An engaging event to experience nature, flavors and music in an all “green” atmosphere.
Palio delle Contrade
The Palio delle Contrade is the big summer festival that involves the whole town in a week of games, popular challenges and healthy fun. The contrade compete in sports tournaments, skill tests and food competitions, amid cheers, colors and traditions. The event opens with the impressive inaugural parade and continues each evening with events for all ages. The contrada that scores the most points will win, winning the coveted Palio.
