In 1953 the forward-thinking winemaker Dante Di Ruscio founded the now historic Cantina Di Ruscio, a winery initially involved in the local table wine trade. The family business then passed to the second generation, with Mario Di Ruscio expanding sales and the range of wines produced. In 2015, with the inauguration of the company’s new building dedicated to sales and customer experience,the transition to the third generation took place, with Marco Di Ruscio taking the lead. The winery has always focused on processing local grapes to obtain the typical wines of the area (Passerina, Pecorino, Falerio DOC and Rosso Piceno DOC). These are complemented by other products such as olive oil, pasta, taralli, jams, and honey in the company’s own shop. Tastings and engaging winery tours are available at the company upon reservation.
